Emmie has been coaching Learn to Skate, Aspire, and private lessons for many years. Emmie's private lesson skaters have competed and tested all over Upper Michigan and parts of Wisconsin. She strives to make sure each student is comfortable, confident, and prepared before stepping foot on the ice in front of the judges. It's all about having fun! Emmie's number one goal while coaching children is to coach to their individual level and meet them where they are.

A person holding ice skatesDescription automatically generatedI am a senior at Kingsford High School and have been skating at IMSC for about 11 years. For about 6 of those years, I have volunteered as a junior coach for the club. During my last year of skating, I plan on working on lots of dance and freestyle skills. Outside of skating, I teach dance classes at Julie's Top Hat Dance Studio and have experience in choreographing routines in both dance and skating. I can't wait to work with any kids who are interested in this amazing sport! I am a class instructor for group lessons and have openings on Wednesdays for private lessons.
