Lauren skated for 17 years as a member of the IMFSC before moving away for college. While away she continued to coach and skated on the UW Madison Skating team. While completing her Chiropractic degree she continued to skate for fun.
During her years skating she passed Senior Moves in the Field, Intermediate Freestyle, and Adult Gold Freestyle tests. She has a passion for teaching jumps and spins while perfecting and building on the fundamental elements of skating. Overall she hopes to instill her continued love for the sport in those she coaches. Lauren is group instructor this season and is available for private lessons on Monday and Wednesday.
Hailey has been with the Iron Mountain Skating club since 2011 when she started skating. This year she is a Senior at Iron Mountain High School. Through IMSC Hailey has passed Juvenile Moves in the Field, Bronze dances, and Pre-Preliminary freestyle. She has participated in Compete USA competitions, the Iron Mountain High School skating team, and synchronized skating. Hailey has been a junior coach for many years assisting with introductory classes, hockey, and even Adult Learn to Skate. Hailey is a class instructor for group lessons and also has openings for private lessons for skaters.
I am a senior at Kingsford High School and have been skating at IMSC for about 11 years. For about 6 of those years, I have volunteered as a junior coach for the club. During my last year of skating, I plan on working on lots of dance and freestyle skills. Outside of skating, I teach dance classes at Julie's Top Hat Dance Studio and have experience in choreographing routines in both dance and skating. I can't wait to work with any kids who are interested in this amazing sport! I am a class instructor for group lessons and have openings on Wednesdays for private lessons.

Shelby’s love for coaching began as a junior coach at IMFSC. She continued to coach until moving away to college at Northern Michigan University. While at school, she joined the NMU Figure Skating Club where she competed, coached at nearby rinks, was a judge for IMFSC competition, and performed at hockey games. Following graduation, Shelby came back to the club to coach for four more years until moving away to Utah to obtain her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Shelby is a group instructor this season and is taking private lessons on Sundays. She has completed her Pre-Silver Skating skills and Bronze singles. Shelby is excited to be back on the ice and to share her love of the sport.
